Uma Lacombe's introduction to Ustad Zia Fariduddin Dagar's Dhrupad performance, recorded at the Ganges View Guest House at Assi Ghat. When the organizers turned off the lights to keep bugs from flying into the Ustad's mouth, I had to switch to night vision! You can hear the frogs croak in the background.
